The Caledon Branch of the Library, in collaboration with the Clan of Storytellers and Seafarers, will be sponsoring a series of story circles at the Falling Anvil Public House, in Caledon Tamrannoch. The stories that are told at these sessions will be collected into a series of volumes in the Caledon branch.
We began the series with a session of ghost yarns and tales of horror, on October 28th. The stories of the original Jack-o-the-Lantern, Vlad the Impaler (founder of the Vampire breed),  La llorna, and numerous others were told at a session that lasted till 2am.  The sessions will continue at irregular intervals,  IM JJ Drinkwater or Aldo Stern to put your name in for the next circle.

On Tuesday November 4 at 6 pm sl, author JC Ripley who created a walk in book will present a program at the open air auditorium about his writing and how he created his walk in book.

Staff are working on a discussion series for the NMC library.  If you have topics you would like to have disucssed, contact Lorelei Junot.

Staff are also working on a new six month plan for the library.  If you have services, programs, or materials you would like to see offered, please contact Lorelei Junot.
