[...] I’m gobsmacked! I just popped into Cybrary City in Second Life for a visit before bed, and have come out with a building for all Australian Libraries to share. Ooops. [...]

Thank you, Lorelei!! I’m stunned at your generosity and Talis’s :)

  3. Emerald Dumont Says:

I was so stunned last night, I’m not sure that I said thank you. I was too busy marvelling at the building and dreaming. Thanks to ALS and Talis. I hope we can find some Australian librarians to make this all work.

    Hi,

I take advantage of that post to bounce back :
Could Info-island make a little survey in its own ranks ?

who are you, dear cybrarians ?
country ? background ? time devoted to InfoIsland ? volunteer ? etc etc

Hoping that Info-Island is not, once more, only an American project…

    Thanks by advance,

  5. Lorelei Says:

It is not just an American project. :) Gonzo Mandelbrot, who headed up the grand opening ceremonies did an informal survey and put up a flag for every country we have a volunteeer from. These are around our outdoor auditorium and we have reps from every continent except Antarctica and Africa. You can also join our google group where we have discussion on operations at http://groups-beta.google.com/group/alliancesecondlife
