    Indeed, the San Jose School of Library and Information Science did purchase an island in Second Life but more importantly has had a research team working for some time to develop our virtual school. A design team manager will join us in January to work with faculty and students. Our first courses will be offered in the summer and the full degree coming soon thereafter.
