Thanks to Stonebruise Goodfellow, the Medical and Consumer Health Libraries, and the Medical Center, all have a new project that we’re hoping others will share. Stonebruise is a new library volunteer, and came bearing the gift of a tale about two brothers who flew. Randy and Rod are both paralyzed with muscular dystrophy, restricted to the use of tongue-driven cursors in RL for communication. Stonebruise intends to see that they and others like them can use SL - and we are joining with her in that goal. The recently formed group called Assistive Technology will work to recruit programmers and scripters to develop applications that can be used in world by those who could not otherwise ride, fly, or even communicate. We welcome your support and participation! For questions, IM Stonebruise Goodfellow, Carolina Keats, Namro Orman, or Goodwillstacy Stindberg.
