Piano Performance at Pantheon Performance Center Draws 60 People

The Pantheon Peformance Center built by Nubian Bliss on Information Island II drew over 60 people on December 30. The center is managed by Kalia Scalia and John2 Kepler. Attendees were treated to outstanding piano by musicians Heath Elvejhem and Jaycatt Nico. The evening was a resounding success, with attendees quickly capping the sim’s population control, and forcing administrators to re-adjust within reasonable limits. The Performance Hall, modeled in the style of an intimate Vienesse Opera House, opened its doors under the new management of opera singer Kain Scalia and professor John2 Kepler, both impresarios in charge of the theater’s programming and logistics.

When queried about the opening, Kain Scalia said that it had surpassed all of his expectations. “The level of attendance was simply amazing, and the quality of the pianists’ performance was top-notch. I don’t think the Hall could have opened to a better pair of musicians,” he said. When asked about plans for the future of the Hall, Scalia smiled enigmatically and said, “Opera, for one. There are several classical vocalists that would certainly look forward to performing in this hall, and I have been in negotiations with Frenchy Hugo, a french singer-songwriter of the chanson tradition, to perform his unique and wonderful renditions here. Second Life is an excellent vehicle for professionals to experiment and reach out to new audiences.”

“It was an honor and a pleasure to be involved in presentaing these two talented performers and to participate in the grand reopening of the new house,” said John2 Kepler.
