First Class on EduIsland II

Today marked an occasion of note: the first class to take place on Alliance’s new training island, EduIsland II.

Delivered by Island Manager Fleet Goldenberg, the class - ‘Establishing an Educational Presence in Second Life and Teen Second Life’ -attracted a large audience of new educators to the main auditorium on the island and a great time was had by everyone present.

 EduIsland II opens officially on April 1st, from which date a 7 days a week regular schedule of outstanding classes will be presented.   The program given today, and other trials that will take place on Thursday-Saturday of this week at 11am SLT ( see SL event calendar at http://www.secondlife.com/events ) are important milestones in ironing out pre-opening glitches from the island and ensuring efficient operation from Day 1.
