FFRC Grants Total 70,000 Linden for Rich Content

The Foundation for Rich Content has decided on which of thirteen proposals to fund with three grants totalling $70,000 Linden dollars. The foundation awarded $50,000
for support of The Shelter, an organization that provides activities, classes and content geared toward new SL residents. One $10,000 grant went toward a project
that will recreate the Elizabethan Era in SL. Another $10,000 Linden went toward a proposal to develop Vaudeville style acts for
SL stages.

“These funding decisions were difficult to make. There were quite a few worthy applicants that didn’t get awards, this time, because we have decided to make a
larger impact with fewer but richer grants,” said FFRC officer Persephone Phoenix. “I think a few of us left the meeting resolving to privately fund applications we
liked but that didn’t make the final cut. I hope to see some of the applications revamped for our summer funding
cycle.”

The Foundation for Rich Content exists to foster diversity and richness in content and events in Second Life. Any resident can join this group through the search function
in-world. There is no fee to join. People interested in funding this organization are asked to make donations to FFRCAccounting Control.

The contacts for the funded projects include Travis Lambert, The Shelter; Lorelei Junot, Elizabethan Era Gets a Second Life; and Osprey Therian, The Show Must Go On! Vaudeville.
