“Come guess me this riddle what beats pipes and fiddle
What’s hotter than mustard and milder than cream?
What best wets your whistle, what’s clearer than crystal
Smoother than honey and stronger than steam?
What’ll make the dumb talk, what’ll make the lame walk
The elixir of life and philosopher’s stone?”

The theme of this session will be “The Humors of Whisky.” Come
prepared to quote your favorite drinking songs, and tell tales of
heoric binges, drunken folly, morning-after repentance, and all the
quirks and crochets of the drinking life. All story-tellers, yarn
spinners, and entertaining liars are welcome to join in, and all
lovers of fable, story, and song are cordially invited to to attend.

Co-sponsored by Her Grace the Duchess of Loch Avie (and Caledon’s
premier distiller), the Clan of Seafarers and Storytellers, and the
Caledon Branch Library.
