If you are searching for stuff about Second Life on a regular basis and you want to keep up: use the following browser Toolbar: SecondLife Search Toolbar.
I made it (with Conduit-software) and want to improve it.
Please let me know any resources, search-options, blogs, feeds, video’s, podcasts and images YOU think should be included and I will implement it. I will of course show off our Infoisland sites too!
Please listen via the RadioPlayer to the podcasts of Eiseldora with SL
Library Podcasts, to Who’s on Second?, Sl Podcast ánd SecondCast.
You don’t have to look for it, it comes to you, every-time IN the Toolbar.
This Toolbar provides (almost) all Search Tools to find information
about Second Life, Blogs, RSS Feeds, Links, Podcasts, Video’s and
Images.
Do you want to find out HOW Second life can be useful for EDUCATION,
TEACHING, SCIENCE and RESEARCH? And you want to see examples of that?
Do you want to know what is available for sale IN and OUTSIDE Second
Life?
Are you looking for Auctions, Classifieds, Events, Groups, Help?
Try this toolbar and keep up with what is happening in (and outside)
Second Life.

This Toolbar uses software by www.conduit.com and they say they will support other platforms in the future, but not at this moment. However, you could point your browser of the Mac towards:
http://secondlifesearch
Or to: http://search.conduit.com/
Or add the Second Life Search Module to Your Netvibes account:

I tried Conduit’s toolbar but it has some spyware in it that reports your search terms and browsing activities back to their database. Is it possible to find a toolbar that doesn’t do that?

Hi Katie,
First of all, it is no spyware. During installation you are asked if you want to activate this or not.
You can DISABLE this reporting tool via the Toolbars logo; Toolbar Options; Additional Settings.
best regards,
Guus
