Celebrating Canada Day

To celebrate Canada Day, which is July 1, Danu Dahlstrom and Dinnie
Devonshire have arranged two exhibits of some celebratory images of
Canada.

On the first floor of Canada Nexus is a small exhibit of popular
choices for outstanding places in Canada, chosen by popular vote in
anticipation of Unesco’s announcements concerning World Heritage
Site designations. Cybrary City (209,166,24)

At the Library and Archives Canada site on Cybrary City II, there is
a larger exhibit celebrating Canada’s 14 World Heritage site
designations in words (notecards) and pictures. The Rideau Canal
gets special mention as Canada’s 14th designated World Heritage
site, which was announced by Unesco June 28.
