Info International’s Grand Opening!

Two ceremonies marked the grand opening of Info Island Sunday, October 14th. The first at 6 AM SLT featured the opening of the China Cafe & Japanese Garden included tea, firecrackers, tours, and Tai Chi meditation. The second ceremony at Noon SLT was marked with speeches from Lorelei Junot and Puglet Dancer, recognition to the group that helped to create this island, fireworks by Hypatia Dejavu, contests run by Christi Janus and Rolig Loon, then a special Oktoberfest dance party on a set created by Bucky Barkley. The prize winners were:
Photo Contest - Georgette Whitfield; Scavenger Hunt - Bryte Jewell; Notecard Quiz - Gareth Otsuka; and Costume contest for Oktoberfest - HollyJean Allen. Congratulations to you all!
