InfoIsland supports audio stream for PLCMC’s Technology Summit

Many thanks to Lorelei Junot with the Alliance Library System and Meno Rich with Worldbridges for recording the stream (and troubleshooting!) of Anastasia Goodstein from YPulse. Here presentation was at the Public Library of Charlotte & Mecklenburg County Technology Summit. In the morning presentation she spoke to an audience of librarians and library workers that mainly serve teens regarding teens use of technology and how library’s can support them. That podcast is here (I had some technical difficulties at the beginning so I didn’t get the entire podcast). In the afternoon she spoke to an audience of librarians and library workers that mainly serve tweens. That podcast is here. The presentations are pretty similar, but there are enough differences to find them both helpful.
We had librarians and attendees from South Carolina, North Carolina, and Spain. There were a few others, but I didn’t ask everyone :) A special thank you to Claudia Linden that visited for the afternoon session and for Linden Lab’s generous donation of two open space sims for librarian’s that attended the summit in person.
